ELECTION DAY: 8th MARCH 2008
The much awaited Election is arround the corner.
Those who are eligible, I hope you vote wisely... vote for a change.
Vote for a voice, and more importantly, vote against corruption - the source
of all our country's problems.

If you are not aware of where you are voting, visitlah this site:
http://daftarj.spr.gov.my/

If you want to know how the state and parliament seats are allocated in your state,
visitlah this site:

Remember that your vote is very important.

Anyone knows of any MBSians running for office aside from Badawi and Dr. K0h?

The last time I check was that 2 of our former teachers are now involved with BN, with 1 holding a state seat:-
1). Cheang Chee Gooi - Gerakan (state seat - can't remember which one)
2). Mr. Khoo XXX... hmmm.. can't remember his name but he used to teach Seni Perusahaan - logam class - MCA?

Personally, I am very disappointed with their decisions... but hey... everyone is entitled to,
and responsible for their own choices. Best wishes to all MBSians running for the election - regardless of which party they are in, I hope they will serve the people with honesty and integrity!
Ok, happy Election day!

01-Mar-08 - The biggest crowd I have ever seen gathered at Han Chiang to hear, to see and to listen to the top guns of the Opposition on this historic day. The rain was teeming down, but the crowd was relentless to witness history in the making. The estimated number of people came to about 10,000. The missing figure was Lim Kit Siang. The top guns who came were Dato Anwar Ibrahim, Karpal Singh (and son Jagdeep), and Lim Guan Eng. Amongst the top guns, a few aspiring politicians also took to the stand to get their points across.

And one of the aspiring politician is none other than our own MBS boy - Jason Ong Khan Lee. Jason is running for state seat N24 - Kebun Bunga. He is going against BN candidate, Quah Kooi Heong.

Well, I do not know much about Jason except that he was my junior... not much fellowship between the juniors and seniors in our days unless you are in the same Scout patrol or prefects or librarian. Anyway, all the best to Jason. Hope he wins, if not, at least he lays the foundation for the next election.

If I was voting in Kebun Bunga, he would get my vote. Unfortunately, I am voting for Yeoh Soon Hin (DAP) in Paya Terubong.

Here're 3 shots I took with my simple camcorder on that historic night (Jason delivered his speech right after Guan Eng):
